Visual Foundation
I am a Product and Graphic Designer with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Iowa State University and a Master of Engineering Design from McMaster University. My foundation is in visual communication, but my work has grown to include product design, human-centered design, and immersive experiences.
Design Mastery
My practice includes graphic design, UX/UI, motion, 3D, and interaction design. Rather than staying in one lane, I have learned to move between them depending on what the work actually needs and what makes the most sense for the project.
Creative Direction
I am interested in how ideas take visual form and how design can shape the way people understand and experience something. Whether the outcome is on screen, in motion, or part of a broader interactive experience, I care about making the work clear, engaging, and visually strong.

A Quest for Knowledge
A well-examined life, in which one is always learning, is the only life worth living, in my judgment. I believe life is a never-ending quest for knowledge and understanding. I have a never-ending appetite for learning, and I want to spend the rest of my life in search of knowledge. I find my challenge in the space between all the deep inquiries and the abstract ideas. My creative strengths lie in my curious mind and my capacity to provide new worth to preexisting concepts.

Connecting Ideas and Minds
I want to use my abilities as a creative person to their fullest by joining forces with forward-thinking pioneers so that I may put my ideas into action. I am always satisfied by spending a lot of time learning about subjects that excite me and connect with my inner universe of ideas since not many things delight my curious mind more than a well-formulated query or an elegant answer.
I move forward by seeking the company of personalities with unconventional perspectives who give the ideal counterweight to my introspective and analytical character. I utilize my characteristics as a persistent designer in learning to balance theory with practice and trying not to get too caught up in unworkable concepts, as great ideas are meant to be brought to life.
